Bitcoin Trades at 0.19% Premium in South Korea on May 9

 

As of 1:00 AM KST on May 9, BTC was trading at 141.83 million KRW on South Korea's Upbit exchange, up 3.03% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 141.56 million KRW, reflecting a price gap of 270,000 KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 0.19%.

ETH, the leading altcoin, showed a Kimchi Premium of 0.26%. Other major altcoins also displayed modest premiums: SOL at 0.12%, XRP at 0.25%, DOGE at 0.16%, and SHIB at 0.10%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 0.1% to 0.2% range.
