Apple has introduced the MacBook Neo, its most affordable Mac laptop yet, starting at $599 ($499 for education) to expand access to the Mac ecosystem worldwide. The lightweight 2.7-pound device features a 13-inch Liquid Retina display with 500 nits brightness and support for 1 billion colors. Powered by Apple’s A18 Pro chip, the laptop delivers up to 50% faster everyday performance and up to three times faster on-device AI processing compared with leading PCs using Intel Core Ultra 5 processors. MacBook Neo also offers up to 16 hours of battery life, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, Spatial Audio speakers with Dolby Atmos, and seamless iPhone integration through macOS Tahoe’s Continuity features. Pre-orders begin in 30 countries, including the U.S., with availability starting March 11.
