HLB Group Shares Next-Generation Drug Development Strategy at 2026 HLB Forum

HLB Group brought together leading domestic and international biotech and medical experts at the “2026 HLB Forum,” held at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul. Under the theme “DNA of Success, Continuity of Innovation; Challenges Without Pause,” the forum focused on strategies for next-generation drug development and global commercialization. Key participants included representatives from the Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharma Manufacturers Association, Korea Drug Development Fund (KDDF), as well as experts from institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania, Moffitt Cancer Center, Asan Medical Center, Hanyang University Hospital, and Seoul National University College of Pharmacy. HLB Group Chairman Jin Yang-gon emphasized the company’s long-term vision of sustained innovation and global expansion beyond short-term achievements.

Across three sessions, participants discussed shifts in the global pharmaceutical landscape, CAR-T immunotherapy expansion, and oncology pipeline strategies. Topics included advancing CAR-T therapies such as those developed by Verismo Therapeutics for solid tumors, as well as HLB’s oncology pipeline including treatments like rivoceranib targeting liver cancer and cholangiocarcinoma. Additional discussions covered regulatory changes in key markets such as Japan and China, as well as opportunities in obesity, metabolic disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases. HLB Group stated that the forum will help refine its commercialization roadmap and strengthen global regulatory and development capabilities.
