Korea Tourism Organization Launches Multilingual Transit Guides for International Visitors

The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) has launched multilingual transportation guides to help international visitors navigate public transit in South Korea more easily. Announced on May 29, the materials provide practical information on transportation options, payment methods, and booking details, including whether foreign credit and debit cards are accepted across trains, airport buses, subways, local buses, and taxis.

The guides also include step-by-step tutorials for apps such as K-Ride, Klook, KORAIL Talk, and Naver Map, along with transportation flow maps linking major airports to key tourist destinations. Available in English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese, the content will be distributed via VISITKOREA, overseas channels, and tourist information centers in cooperation with local governments and tourism organizations.
