POSCO Group Completes Lithium Hydroxide Plant, Strengthens Battery Material Supply Chain

On November 29, POSCO Pilbara Lithium Solutions, a subsidiary of POSCO Group, announced the completion of its second lithium hydroxide plant in the Yulchon Industrial Complex, South Jeollanam-do. This achievement comes just one year after the completion of the first plant, establishing a total annual production capacity of 43,000 tons—enough to manufacture approximately one million electric vehicles.
