Samsung C&T Expands Global Reach with Successful Riyadh Metro Completion

Samsung C&T Engineering & Construction announced the official launch of Riyadh Metro on December 1, marking the beginning of Saudi Arabia's first public transport network.

The project, the world's largest single-phase public transport development, boasts a total length of 176 kilometers across six lines (Lines 1-6). Lines 1, 4, and 6 opened their doors to the public today, with Lines 2 and 5 slated to follow on December 15th. Line 3 will be phased in, beginning operations on January 5th, 2025.
